Howdy My Friends,
Once again, I want to thank Philip Mayabb from the bottom of my heart for holding down the fort. As I have shared with you for some months now, my life has been in an upheaval but is finally calming down, Praise God! Philip is a hard act to follow as he is quite an historian and a great wordsmith. Two things that I am not. However, you are stuck with me for the time being and with that said let's get on with "Gospel Monday."
Southern Gospel is the roots of CCM Classic. So many early CCM artists came out of Southern Gospel: The amazing harmonies and musicianship are 1st class; being so acoustic and stripped down, there is no room for error.
I would encourage you to tune into CCM Classic Radio; what a special treat to hear these great songs, groups and artists!
